Boclair House, an ex Local Authority office and originally built as the Buchanan Retreat is currently being refurbished by Manor View Hotels to a very high standard. To add to that high standard, I was commissioned to design and fabricate a stained glass window for the main staircase, a design which would fit with the intended internal design but also traditional in some manner. It was a tall order so I used a design (designs) by the American architect, Frank Lloyd Wright, using two designs and amalgamating them by dimensions and colours. The hotel opens in February so anyone wanting to see it is welcome to invite me for lunch!

Stained Glass can be a pleasurable craft and art. It's a pastime for a lot of, and an art for your number of. Stained glass is frequently used in the making of home windows and lampshades, but can also be valuable for containers, clocks, cupboard doorways, photograph frames along with other 3-dimensional jobs.
