We must all take care not to come into contact with this dreadful virus but business must go on where possible, albeit safely.  While no social gatherings should take place at present, isolated movement while adhering to rigorous health and safety standards, remains possible.  Many people are still travelling to work where their employers have yet to release them to work from home while arrangements are made.

As a business, we are well aware of the impact, both short-term and long-term, that this pandemic will have on the economy and society and it is US (you and me) who will either control it or allow it to spread.  As considerate professionals, we already used shoe and boot covers, covers on the base of our ladders and latex gloves and masks when entering dusty or dirty spaces so we consider ourselves equipped to continue to offer a reasonably full service.

Most of our work involves inspecting vacant, derelict or otherwise unoccupied properties so minimises the person-to-person contact and virus transfer.  Most of our time on site also takes place externally, recording the property’s condition, identifying and noting defects and then accessing otherwise unseen parts of the fabric internally such as roof-spaces and sub floors.  We may have to use door handles to access rooms or touch hatches but we can identify them on a list of areas we have been in contact with and which will also be disinfected prior to us leaving the property.

We have full IT at our home office and can prepare reports and email them along with invoices so no paperwork needs to be posted – or received – if preferred.

Please contact us to discuss your requirements or to receive reassurances.  We are always happy to take calls to discuss matters and only charge when we actually do something useful.  A quick chat is not chargeable.

Please stay safe and adhere to the current government guidance.
